Trading ceases on the 3rd Friday of the contract month, providing it be a business day; if not, the 1st preceding business day. Options will expire on the next day following the last trading day of the contract month.

American style. Exercise is via the Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corporation (CDCC). Options shall be exercised by clearing approved participants in accordance with the Rules and General Conditions of the designated Clearing Corporation. Options may be exercised only in a unit of trading or in an integral multiple thereof.
